#Realistically speaking, would it be possible to beat the vtuber sub record?

Kai Cenat's record is obviously too far, but maybe we could potentially beat out the record for "vtubers" only which was mousy's (321k)?

Since we have a huge bilibili chinese community, I think we could take advantage of the reach there and added a system where subscriptions in that platform would translate to a subscription in twitch or something similar.

i.e like X amount of subscriptions in bilibili will result to X amount of gifteds in Twitch, just so it can connect both communities together? I genuinely think its doable to beat the record imo.

Making a splash could potentially extend our reach in mainstream and Neuro more known.

Additionally, we could also involve AI related charities where some of the proceeds will go towards, to motivate viewers.

maybe like: https://ai4good.org/
or if AI charities are still too controversial we can simply go for children's charities, to reflect Neuro.

Last year if the subathon lasted 6 months or smth neurOMEGALUL

it sounds possible, but it could only work if the bilibili community get enough live time for it to work. If neuro is "asleep" more time during the bilibili timezone than awake, they might not be incentivised to participate neuroSad

If anything, doesn't he want it to be shorter than last years?

nope, i don't think the channel has the personnel and skills needed to curate and organise the amount of content needed for such a thing (unless he went on hiatus for 2 months to generate that headway)
neuro is also still too inflexible i think
I'm also very doubtful of the charities idea - it would be very blatantly copying ironmouse and would come across as disingenuous. At least, that's how I would see it.

also, are you suggesting that we use the cash generated from bilibili to buy artificial twitch subs? sounds very wasteful and i doubt it's in the spirit of the subcount record
The other option is a special arrangement with twitch, but I'm sure they would laugh at the idea and disagree strongly.

bilibili subs are very different from twitch subs. It's more expensive, even more so in terms of purchasing power. You can't gift a sub. There's no ads, so no incentives to sub other than to support vedal

combined with no chat integration and 3am stream time, I doubt we'll see a significant contribution from b2

well, subathon sleep schedule might fix the 3am streams lol
