I noticed neuro has a pause anytime she's searching on google and to us it just feels like a pause or latency. Assuming this is just an unavoidable consequence of having her do the action and actually read the information and have everything load, I think it would be appropriate to have some visual indicator of what's happening behind the scenes. For example the toggle with coded binary eyes that got used for chat tts and hasnt been used since would fit. Or maybe a little speech bubble pops up displaying 3 dots (...) showing that she's googling. Idk maybe vedal is more focused on reducing the search time to zero anyways but this would be a good temporary solution.
#Neuro should have and indicator for when she's searching.

good idea
he considered this but denied it because apparantly the search time is too short
I imagine the silent periods during searches is a bug rather than a processing power issue, since she can usually be “fixed” by a priority message
Yea I had a feeling he would prefer there be no waiting time at all over this. Just sucks to have toggles and no use for them since it doesn't seem like the tts voice is coming back
I still think that they should have binary eyes with an arbitrary amount of time toggled, it can overlap her speaking to look like shes reading it in real time
just to let the viewers know they searched
For a general indicator I'd prefer a text display of what she actually searched to show up in a search box at the bottom of the screen temporarily so we get to see if she searched something goofy but she never announced it
I think a way Vedal could be down with this is if the twins said something like "wait let me google this" before searching, though idk if that's something feasible, I imagine not
Instead of an on-screen indicator like op said
I would actually want to see something like that, we saw yesterday and Monday how much comedic value their searches have.
Could something unintrusive like a small pop-in in the corner saying smt like "searched for: [search prompt]"
Or create some bot that dumps their searches in a text file on discord, like Vedal did yesterday
