A stream concept that I thought might be interesting would be a stream where a chess coach tries to coach Neuro/Evil. Regardless of whether or not the LLM is actually connected to the chess algorithm or not, it would surely at least make for some interesting interactions.
I'm partially suggesting this because I'd also be interested in coaching Neuro myself if possible. You might remember me from the videos a few months ago where I analyzed chess games from Neuro, Evil, and Vedal; I've got plenty of experience coaching beginners and have a good chunk of lesson ideas at the ready. Having someone else more vtuber-adjacent coach Neuro would be plenty interesting to watch too.

i think this hinges on how well Neuro's LLM can apply principles/do reasoning. (like 'take control of the centre'). Maybe it could be done with enough levels of CoT /shrug
I think Ellie would be interested in coaching chess too. Though, if given the choice, I'd like Neuro to collab with more non-vtubers. I think there's a lot more potential collabs to do if we reached out beyond the vtuber space.
regardless, i wanna see neuro's reaction to being properly taught a topic
lia tried with the alphabet thing but that was mostly a meme
Does Ellie play chess? Do you mean that she'd be interested in teaching or in learning
i don't think she's played chess on stream but she says she's alright at it and has said she wanted to teach bo it
like "teach" can mean a lot of things
teach as in just telling bo how the pieces move?
covering openings? tactics and concepts? what?
i think it was intermediate stuff (tactics, concepts, openings)
ah ok
personally, in this stream, i'd be looking to see if Neuro is playing better at the end than at the beginning
otherwise i would find the stream sort of hollow
even a real person can't really easily see tangible improvement after 2 hours of coaching tbh
and no, i would not find it hollow at all
neuro is neuro
🤯 we have different preferences
yeah, you stated yours, so i should be allowed to state mine
yeah it was quite informative
however, i like the idea of observing improvements as well
perhaps I was misunderstanding ellie then - i do often misremember stuff
maybe she meant offstream
realistically that will take some time, assuming the LLM actually learns
like, i remember a while back
during the rona
a lot of streamers got coached by actual chess masters
they went on to play on that twitch tourney
Pogchamps
it was good fun
neuro wasnt around then
if some of that magic can be recreated just for neuro/evil i'd be happy
yeah see, forsen was in here
lmao
damn i knew about the competition but not about the coaching
could be a good reference for how a neuro coaching stream could be structured
