I found this mobile data coverage map. I just did a google search and so I assume Vedal probably already knows about this.
It's precise enough to have picked up on the apparent dead zone in the LA zoo, and it also shows the difference in coverage between the LA zoo and the San Diego zoo.
Judging from the parking bays, the map seems to have a resolution of 6m.
You can filter by provider, generation and frequency band. It has no API.
