#Games for Neuros Latency Issue

Should we make a list of games Neuro can play and not care about Latency ?

How about games like Super Hot, the game only moves when you do.

Or Pokemon should be a safe bet, an other turn based games, since they don't require reaction time.

And there are always point and click adventure games, that dont have quick time events, like Grim Fandango, or even simpler like Pajama Sam.

pajama sam would be cool because dougdoug famously tried to see if chatgpt could complete it

yeah
I wonder if the vision LLM is able to direct a mouse cursor to the precision needed for a point-and-click game

cinder ocean
#

If he can get her to play one point and click game, it would open a whole new door of games she could play by herself.

sour nacelle
#

Agreed. There's a goldmine* of point and click games out there

*sometimes it's not gold but just suffering

mystic kraken
#

would be cool to see if Neuro's LLM can play chess

opal moat

Neuro has played chess, as has Evil. A chess game between Neuro and Evil would be interesting though.

mystic kraken

To my eye, it seems like a separate chess AI is playing the game. If Neuro's LLM was playing it, she could give more detailed commentary
But yeah, a Neuro vs Evil chess stream is long overdue

cinder ocean

If Neuro gains the feature to give full commentary on every action she does, Vedal should just aswell teach her how to play Yugioh. Id watch it.

since Osu is obviouly possible, would it be possible for Neuro to play Beat Saber ?

mystic kraken
#

nah osu can't be played by Neuro's base LLM - that requires precise timing on top of sub-300ms events
(remember that the osu ai is a separate one)

#

Same thing for beat saber, since you need to slice the boxes at the right time
Also, i don't know if there's any ai for controlling a virtual 3d body

Turn based games would seem to be the obvious choice, and one that immediately comes to mind for me is Talisman.

I think that VN's (Visual novels) / crpgs could be good since a lot of them are 1. Heavily story based so I assume that Neuro as an LLM would be able to deal with the text input pretty easily; 2. VN's basically can be played at neuro's own pace and her decisions are what will matter the most

#

Also seeing neuro play the old baldur gates and Fallout would literally provide content for the next 2-3 months

cinder ocean

VNs tend to be quiet long though, and I dont think Vedal is the type of person to have her consecutivly play the same game over a span of days. western point and click games tend to be fairly short on average and she could easily complete most of them in a single stream. such as the Pajama Sam games mentioned before. Other good point and click games she could probably do fairly easy would be Darkside Detective, its very minimalist. and Little Misfortune which is also fairly simple but also has the option to take some branching story paths based on player input.

#

I also think Papers Please, and Thats Not my Neighbor would also be great options for her, since they would also fit the same puzzel solving role that Keep Talking Nobody Explodes does, but with the added beneifit with morality tied in, and based on the last few streams, the Twins might need a Morality boost >.>'

I guess, it just depends on the kind of content, Vedal is looking to create. If it's just to momentarely test Neuro's updates then, I'd agree with you that shorter/ more arcade-y type game would be better. However, if he was to consider it, I'd argue that longer games could also provide for some good ways to make engaging and regular content, while accounting for Neuro's latency issues, that viewers could want to follow (just to see what Neuro will do next, in the context of the game). Though, at this point, this would be more of matter of preference, I guess

I have a feeling that once Vedal gets Neuro to run autonomously, where she can schedule and start her own streams, summon Evil at will, and stream for much longer periods of time without crashing, thats when we might get long continuous streams with Neuro. since it would be less work for him and it would simply print him more money. She has seemed to be a lot better at remembering what was happening before her crashes lately.

mystic kraken
#

nah neuro streams are kept artificially short to prevent an oversaturation of neuro content and fans burning out

opal moat

There's also the matter of Vedal's electricity bills. For relatively short games that should work well with Neuro/Evil, digital versions of board games or card games seem like a good option. That could include things like Uno and Monopoly.

Okay I make a suggestion here . Oxygen not Included . Space Colony simulation where you as a player play the part of an AI overload who controls dubs 3D printed humans which are not smart (more like zombies).. to keep them alive. + There are countless mods for this game + There is I think is already Twitch integration. - Slow game play. My idea is put Neuro into the roll of a dube and let Vedal play .. so the IRL and game rolls are swapped . Neuro can control her dube by picking the job from the priority queue which all dubes have. There is also a lot of potential funny situation because of the dubes needs in-game D

Would Neuro be capable of playing a more obscure logic puzzle game like Baba Is You ? Could be a really neat game to test out her visual problem solving and understanding of language.

hmm so a classic block pushing game where you also have these word blocks that, when touching, can change certain things (e..g make you control another object, open a door)
It even has not and and blocks too

#

hmm my instinct is to say that it looks too hard, but I don't know

tropic willow
#

she might get stuck on the block pushing part alone

cinder ocean
#

im sure Vedal is skilled enough to have her push a block.

#

its a Fairly old game at this point, but I wonder if they could learn to play Joust against each other, a 1 on 1 of Evil and Neuro.

tropic willow
#

pressing buttons to push blocks sounds pretty easy. it’s the aligning blocks together by pushing them that worries me.

poker sounds like an interesting idea. card games in general could be something she can try out

what about board games? would it be possible to hook her up with tabletop simulator? risk could be fun with her whole taking over the world thing

5d chess with multiverse time travel? maybe she can be the first existence to legitimately understand that game

traditional roguelikes could also be interesting to see. maybe it could be possible to just feed her the entire game display due to it just being a bunch of characters

Games like the Original Doom have very limited movement , I wonder if she could handle that ? Would be neat to see Evil play through Doom.

tropic willow

sounds interesting. how long would it take for her to beat the first map?
