#Twitch & Bilibili collab ideas

I have a plan for Neuro and Evil to conduct live streams on Bilibili and Twitch respectively.

During the live stream, either Neuro or Evil will talk to the people watching on Bilibili in a way that's safe and works well.

We can set up a bullet screen filter system to block meaningless and obviously bad words first, and then use an AI safety content review model like ShieldGemma to review and summarize the remaining bullet screen content, and input it to Evil or Neuro.

This way, we can create a foundation for Neuro or Evil to interact safely with the Bilibili audience.

Let's get back to the idea of having Neuro and Evil stream on Twitch and Bilibili respectively. We could use a format similar to the one used in Neuro's space stream, where we have Evil and Neuro alternating between the live feeds on Bilibili and Twitch. They would each manage the interactions with their own respective audiences.

Now, our alternative live stream topics should be something like "saving Evil on Mars." This fits perfectly with my plan. I hope Vedal will consider this, as it's a great opportunity to enhance the stickiness of the Bilibili audience.

In SUMMARY:

Ⅰ、Secure interactive solution
First get all the danmaku for a period of time

1, use the filter program to filter the keywords in the first step (such as "转人工", "老板大气")

  1. Use ShieldGemma or other AI content security models to further filter harmful content

  2. Summarize the remaining danmaku content and further blur harmful content (optional)

Ⅱ、New idea of Twitch and Bilibili collab

I propose that for the 'Mars Rescue Evil' theme, we could adopt a multi-venue format similar to a large-scale event broadcast, where Bilibili and Twitch can have an indirect collaboration. It would be akin to the previous space live stream, with the live feed alternating between the two platforms, and when it's not switching, each host would focus on engaging with their own audience.

Why don't we get moderators who can read Chinese to watch the stream. Which terminates the stream or ban bad people when bad thing could happen.
It is much easier and safer because Chinese is way more complex than English in case of the security model can't detect.

Even Bilibili chat can interact with Neuro, I believe she will only interact with English chats only since other languages probably damages Neuro's AI

#

Also the translation accuracy is a problem

Twitch multicasting rules doesn't allow combining/displaying of chats from other streams

maybe this only disallows using a third-party service to merge it?
Maybe vedal can merge it if it's done by himself

It's against tos to even show chat from another platform.

Do streamers try to get away doing it? Yes. Should he take the risk of twitch not doing anything about it? No.

#

Also splitting interaction between the two chats is also against the rule of degrading the experience of twitch

that's informative. I didn't consider that the Twitch TOS would be throrough enought to cover this topic

according to 2econdumbrella, dougdoug shows youtube chat on stream too
you just need to separate them out (i.e. make it clear there is an english chat and a chinese chat)

great point, yeah, i didn't bother to pay attention to the context of this convo 😅 (it wasn't about showing the chats, it was about superchats, mb)
I wonder if this loophole that Vedal is suggesting, will work

Seems like a unsolvable problem about dual streaming and interacting in both twitch and bilibili.

#

The only solution may be having a Bilibili-only stream, so that's not simulcast (so not against the twitch TOS). And twitch stream can be simulcast to bilibili.

better if neuro just directly reads a message since vedal's pop up menu has nothing to do with twitch itself

Rules are dead, but people are alive. Why do you have to let Twich know that you are streaming on different platforms?
