Personal Feedback for 1st CN Stream & Personal QA about CN environment

Under the commercial operations of the business team vedal cooperates in CN, the popularity of the stream soon reaches the highest of the site (at 2am and 3am, counted hourly). Neuro also receieved more than 200 fleets (Bilibili variation of subscription) in her 1st stream! Cheers for neuro here!

It's exciting to see more than 10k peak viewers, but remember that vedal and neuro's fan base is small. Extra people flooding in doesn't know the interaction feature is under construction, they doesn't know this stream is only a chatting stream, and they might not really know that it's an AI. Chat at start is catastrophically in chaos, but fortunately turning better as it getting very late at night. One reminder for vedal is that in CN network (and maybe the global Internet), popularity might not be a really good thing. There will always be people seeking for repulsive fun.

Luckily, I've been seeing CN swarm are actively trying to maintain a good environment, including advising people to interact in Twitch and condemning fun-seekers, even at a cost of sending super chats (you will see -30, -50, -100 during stream, all because people sending superchats at a cost of real money for no neuro replies). I dare not to say I'm an active swarm member (I don't really watch neuro that often) but I feel warm for their movements.

So, what's next? Posting explanatory videos, dev streams, or just a short text update? The choice in on the turtle and I don't feel that I'm the one who is capable at giving a suggestion. But what I can do is to provide some explanations for Chinese environment. And I believe CN swarm members can help you as well with .

So if all 200 of those fleets were the 198CNY tier, then about $5600 was spent on fleets, which is the equivalent of 1100 twitch subs. That is insane 🤯

That's a good point. The biliibili intro video assumes knowledge of Neuro. Thus it only talks to the pre-existing fanbase in China, not new people who haven't heard about Neuro.
Perhaps a generic introduction video could be made to bring the chinese fans up to speed (like you suggest). It would introduce Neuro, Evil and Vedal. It could even maybe provide a condensed timeline of the past 1.5 years and introduce Anny etc. This video could then be reused for the japanese and spanish markets too.

yes, but the stream was more directly pushed to external people or so, so others didn't see it

I'd rather say that the business team made a wrong decision (or it is not good at this at all, they just want to see big numbers, they don't care about vedal&neuro)

yeah chinese vtuber viewers are like that😓 also I wouldnt measure success by how much revenue the stream generated, because currently the stream chat/video comment areas are both flooded with people who havent heard of neuro before, and there's also a bit of controversy surrounding a chinese vtuber guild(of very bad reputation) that vedal supposedly(i havent seen any concrete evidence) cooperated with to get neuro's account up on bilibili
