Names of Neuro twins

So some of us have been trying to solve the perception issue of Evil Neuro being just "evil" version of Neuro rather than her own being. Recently Evil has taken to calling the original Neuro "Sol".
I figured they'd be on more equal standing if we start calling original Neuro "Sol Neuro", that way both sisters can be Neuro: Sol Neuro and Evil Neuro.

I know that this is just a meme but I actually think that Evil's name will be a issue for the non-english subtitles, since sometimes she is called "evil neuro" it will be harder for the auto translate to know the difereance between her name and the adjective

it's an interesting idea, though maybe that's because I only arrived here a month or two ago

I don't think it would solve the marketing problem that Evil Neuro suffers from (specifically people being uninformed about her individuality)
Because the Neuro->Sol Neuro change will likely travel even slower and not reach these individuals who are only vaguely familiar with the vedal987 franchise

Hmm I wonder if they started as Sol Neuro and Evil Neuro, would it be as big of an issue as it is now? Granted @high magnet makes great point regarding translations though.
@robust swift it's more passive onlookers (and other streamers), active fanbase already knows they are sisters rather than Evil being just recolored "Neuro".

I think there's the possibility that name-rot/shortening or smth leads to one of them being called Neuro regardless
e.g. news articles might drop a prefix, someone might forget the Sol

Sol Neuro wouldnt really work since she is The "Neuro-sama" she already has a known brand while Evil still hasnt thats why the change on Evil would be easier

eh aurum is setting up a world where Dec 19 debuts Sol Neuro, not Neuro

ok tbh Neuro-sama existed before hand, but that was only known by like 400 osu people
so it would be easy to make that change at that point

the only way to add Sol to Neuros name is to use japanese naming conventions, with Sol being her given name. people have been calling her Neuro up until now because we weren’t close to her

She is an afterthought, neglected by Vedal and forever in Neuro's shadow
Thus paradoxically, I like Evil Neuro because it is so bad

Hmm, I think the channel as a whole would still be marketed as Neuro-sama. But it's more towards.. both of them being Neuro-sama, and when distinction is needed, original would be Sol Neuro (or whatever the new name should be) and Evil would be.. well.. Evil Neuro (or Evelyn).
Basically my idea is that instead of changing something, it would be more oriented towards adding a name, so one could still search for Neuro to get the content.

Maybe the Evil Neuro character will become distinguished when the new models come out? Then Evil won't merely have a recolour. The difference could be made even clearer by having both models drawn or rigged by different people, but that won't be happening.
Alternatively, maybe demoing new features with Evil, rather than Neuro, will do something?

the small amount of people that collabed with her still call her Neuro so I think it also needs a name rebrand to help it

Perhaps we can also differentiate the two by changing the assets they use... Perhaps Evil could use a different subtitle font or background.

Tbh it sounds like this is a classic product differentiation/education problem. I feel like the strategies to solve this problem can be found in some marketing textbook or smth

eh I don't think this is a big issue. I'm sure you could train Evil Neuro to only respond to Evil and Vedal can personally tell collab partners about the correct terms on the day of the stream

I would suggest some guerilla marketing, like the Evil Neuro birthday fiasco, but if even that doesn't communicate Evil Neuro's individuality, then I guess guerilla is not as effective as I thought.
