It’s the same premise as how the Stanley parable was handled, neuro responds to the narration of the game while vedal plays through it

The Beginner's Guide is a narrative video game from Davey Wreden, writer of The Stanley Parable. It lasts about an hour and a half and has no traditional mechanics, no goals or objectives. Instead, it tells the story of a person struggling to deal with something they do not understand.

hmmm in the Stanley Parable, there is a clear and simple narrative, and the narrator is verbose, giving neuro plenty of information to bounce off of
However, this 'game' seems like a high level exploration into video games as a medium. I'm not sure if Neuro is smart enough to engage with academic discussion like this.
The narrator in this game is concise and expects you to remember a great deal,. There is a larger emphasis on not only detecting what's on screen, but also mulling over the sample game holistically as an experience, using both your sense of aesthetic and the general conventions about games that you have internalised

i watched a bit more of the playthrough and i realise that many of these comments i made might merely superficial ones (i.e. it being an academic discussion of games)
