TL;DR: So basically, this thread started because people felt displeased about the content in Evil's birthday stream. Eventually discussion about Evil's birthday stream slowly formed into a different conversation debating the moralities over Evil's birthday stream. Some people felt it was too harsh towards Evil and could've brought up traumas, others thought it wasn't harsh at all. Some of OP's original intentions of the thread were still brought up though, as people wanted reconciliation, such as a redo for Evil's birthday stream.

People thinking that, they can just turn the stream off. Vedal can address a different issue however. That being, while not traumatized a lot of people are unhappy. He is not obligated to, but it would be nice gesture to many and non-offensive to those that just thought this was the best joke ever.

And I don't know what to say to that. If I were just talking about me, I would mention how small apologies for small things are very common in my day to day life, and not worth this infinite consideration. This same thing could help here, and, for me, would be enough the next time too.

But I think you want more like a change of character, which is not something we can ask, and hopefully not something we want.
