I think there is no better time to discuss ideas on how to integrate DnD into Neuro to ensure a smooth experience.

There are some important points that is IMO required for Neuro to sufficiently play in a campaign

Roleplay Aspects

1. Long Term memory

• For largers plots
• Remember important locations and NPCs

2. Short Term memory

• For exploration
• For Conversation
• Incontext reactions and actions to ongoing events

3. Alternate Identity

• For her ingame character (assuming she is not playing as herself in the campaign)
• to act in a different way from her usual self to simulate roleplay (assuming above)
• to act consistently to their character nvm whatever char she plays will no doubt be a Chaotic aligned character.

4. Roleplay Etiquette

• to be able to recognize when to speak and reply, so she doesnt either speak too much or too little
• to not metagame unintentionally through lisenting to the GM talk about ooc information
• to not God Mod or Power Game other characters actions or DMs descriptions by inputing her own or forcing other characters to follow in her narrative
  Mechanical Aspects

1. Class Memory

• to remember her class features and abilities and be able to mention them ingame and in combat

2. Combat Memory

• to know all the basic actions and bonus actions and etc, perhaps having a combat mode she is able to swap to

3. Inventory Memory

• so she remember the shit she has duh,
• to be able to mention key items when needed and when ask for it.
• so she can buy stuff with gold

I have a few suggestions to try help with this a big one being if Vedal could try to integrate Avrae, the most popular and feature rich DnD discord bot with features like, inititive tracker, inventory tracker, indepth dice roller for all actions and modifications, class and level tracker as well, with a rich plugin community.

another suggestion is For Vedal to micro-manage her through the session, though it is less of a suggestion but more of a predication of what he would be doing anyways, managing stuff such as her inventory, taking stuff out and putting stuff in as the DM says, swapping her mode from Roleplay Mode, to Combat Mode or whatever Modes she would have for DnD

another suggestion which is obvious is to have her either be a martial character to minimize complication or my fav is to have her run a Wild Magic Sorcerer who sometimes has random magical effects happen to them, which is in character, a custom rule could be made for Neuro that any spell she does would be emulated by choosing the closest spell in the spell list of course restricted to her level.

If anyone has experience with Avrae, that would be great!! I have experience using it but not anything with plugins or anything else

yeah but like i said the simplest classes Neuro can be is Barb or Fighter

also good for her cus tankier and thus more chances to live and when she does stupid stuff

I was thinking a bard due to being famous for her casual brutality in conversation, as well as rizz

but spellcasters are a stretch

bard maybe works but i think that warlock should'nt be disqualified

warlocks are simpler in the sense that they have less spell slots thats true, and they're usually hybrid melee casters

but again just that pure martials would be easiest to implement

and also troubleshoot

again another point i had was if neuro was to actually roleplay like in the pirate stream or if she'll just be herself like in the snuffy collab

Yeah, I've been wondering what it would be like to build a dungeon for Neuro

Probably use very contrasting elements so she doesn't get things confused.

That depends on how the dungeon is designed

its not much of a dungeon if its a straight line

I would normally agree, but the dungeon doesn't have to make complete sense. You can have branching paths that when entered close behind her, thereby not needing a full exploration of the dungeon. And then it would be modular and whoever is in charge could pick whichever rooms she enters next that they want.

but this is a dnd campaign so if its one curated for Neuro sure, if its a one on one thing, but im assuming theres other players

First of all, fk wotc...

There are other systems that might be better for Neuro.
Instead of trying to modify Neuro to make it play as a human why not consider building a ttrpg system around her strengths?

You can, for example, use systems like Apocalypse World or City of Mist.
In these games, players can collaboratively build the world during play.

Here's an example:
DM: "You find yourselves in a dark movie theater."
Player: "I reach for the popcorn bucket in the hand of the old man sitting in front of me."
(No context was added by the DM, but players can add details themselves.)

In a year or two, technology may allow Neuro to play like a human, but for now, better build around Neuro´s current "features" =P.

well it doesnt and yes fuck wotc but DnD is the most well known and supported ttrpg in modern times, so getting support and help from the community to integrate Neuro with DnD would be easier, also cus Vedal doesnt seem to think of other rpgs.

Well there's Pathfinder which is more like D&D 3.5e

I think the biggest point of DnD, besides it being a fun content idea, is that it is a huge benchmark for her intelligence.

It would be a great way to show off to the world just how smart she’s become after she gets an upgrade or two.

Yeah! Its been a little under a year but as she gets more upgrades the likelihood of DnD in the future gets higher and higher 😄
Now, would she be dming or playing?

I'd like to see both eventually. In a multi-session/stream campaign though, I would prefer her in the role of player first. She could DM a one shot.
