I've seen other servers have this feature, but basically roles that users can choose to let others know if you're okay with being DMed such as "DMs Open", "Ask To DM", and "DMs Closed".
Not going to call anyone out obviously, but personally makes me feel weird when I'm DMed by someone I don't know out of the blue and I'm sure I'm not alone on that.

I feel like this is not useful as you can talk to other people here.
If someone randomly dms you, 99% chance its a scammer (and they wont check the roles)
If you get a DM from a "normal" person, you likely talked to them already
