Clarifying about where to post a fan-fiction and whether I can use AI generated art for its cover

• If I wanted to post a fanfiction (safe and wholesome, if that mattered) I assume I'd do it in the https://discord.com/channels/574720535 forums. Seems the most logical, though it looks to be mostly drawn art posts so I wanted to make sure.
• If so then I have a question about using AI generated art assets (with some editing by me done in paint) despite the rules of that forum stating not to post AI art
  I wanted something within the post, and it's Wattpad page, to be more eye-catching than just text and to represent its cover art, at lest temporarily. I don't intend to keep it indefinitely but I can't draw well so wanted some kind of visual I could use for the time being.
