Its been a long time since the Evil name debate, and tempers have calmed a bit. Lets think about this rationally.
To be an individual means to have a unique identity, a name is one of those things that give you an identity. Neuro-sama is a unique name, Evil-Neuro-Sama meanwhile implies that she's just Neuro but Evil.
This has confused collab partners and new people alike, it wouldn't have to be that way if she had a name of her own- and it would be useful for conversations between AIs and with Neuro herself too if it was clear who she was talking about, Neuro herself, or her sister.
Evil Neuro can remain her nickname, its down to the point, and being called "Evil" is kind of fun, but its just not a name you'd give to your child, is it?
So, my suggestion for this, and PLEASE do not immediately shut down the conversation, but entertain the idea and actively debate for the pro and contra.
When Anny finished Evil's new model, Evil will presumably have a debut of her own. During that or shortly after, her and Vedal should discuss if she wants a name of her own. Twitch chat is ignored, Evil doesnt respond to them, its just Evil and Vedal.
Something like "Hey Evil, if you could give yourself a name, what would it be?" and then the top five or top ten suggestions they discuss further, until Evil either really likes one name or theres a tie between two or three.
At that point, and no earlier, is Twitch chat allowed to vote on it, because otherwise they'll refuse change outright and just vote no. If Evil decides on a name that Vedal likes, they don't get to vote on it at all.
Thoughts? I know it looks harsh to exclude Twitch chat, but i think we can all agree they do more harm than good these days. The 8% incident seems to have been a fluke.
