#Making sure that the timer does not run out during sleeping hours

While I do believe there might be another surge in subscriptions, it is also possible that the subathon will end tomorrow. It would be an unsatisfactory conclusion if it were to end while Neuro and Vedal are sleeping.

So, if the timer is expected to reach 0 during sleeping hours, I suggest the following possibilities:

  • Stream until the timer reaches 0 (it would be dreadful for Vedal, of course)
  • Halt the timer until Neuro (and Vedal?) wake up
  • Stream until the timer reaches 0, and also decrease the time added per subscription (only if Vedal were to want to end it)

My personal favourite is point one.
Unsure whether this has been discussed elsewhere, and if Vedal has alluded to this already. He may talk about it today, if he hasn't.

Why would it be weird for the timer to run out while sleeping? seems only natural, rather than changing the rules last moment to squeeze out extra hours

I would prefer the subathon to got out with a "bang", and not 5k people watching a Vod and Neuro sleep. Seems like an unsatisfactory conclusion. Maybe it won't be the case, but it could be. Also, the first point wouldn't be changing any of the rules, just make Vedal miserable. Of course, you may disagree. I'll edit my suggestion and change it to " an unsatisfactory conclusion" instead of "odd".
