This would the Collab Dev Stream of ALL TIME neuroEvilDrone

Swarm REAL neuroMelt evilflooshed

Masiro 3D printing and assembling the robotic parts, with his COVID Era home lab, Vedal bringing the AIs' code to life, Anny designing the models to be printed to robot form.

If nothing else, certainly think it'd be an interesting move, even if it's not considered in a serious way.

Would be very curious about how the idea is perceived, though.

AI powered actual anime robots, but for real.

Imagine if Ved got a full on Cybernetic Idol thing going -- he did mention an AITuber company, at one point, during a dev stream (never was sure if serious or joke).

And the enhancements Masiro's robot maid cafe would get, with AI training to enable the wide variety of personalities (including those who totally wanna get destroyed with insults, by AI like Evil evilBlush)

Anyway just thinking out loud, maybe. Idk, what do y'all think? Good idea? Am I just a mad schizo and simp? neuroShrug evilShrug

Not sure how people will perceive this, in the general community, but I certainly think it'd be at least interesting to consider.

Worst case scenario, it gets ignored or removed, but it's probably not something that has been suggested.

Business, development, and overall expansion of the entire concept.

IKR! I was keeping updated on that, long before Neuro debuted.

I think it'd be a fantastic idea for the collaboration. I just don't know how both communities would take to it.

I was discussing it in #programming , and I think there's a few things to consider:

  • Far as I'm aware, there IS supposed to be a 3D model for the Twins, eventually
  • IIRC, Anny actually lives in Japan, and she could probably not only do the design work, but she might even be able to make the initial contact with Masiro, if Ved is up for this idea, and do translations between the teams
  • Idk how Masiro got the funding for his fabs, but like I was discussing with @formal sluice and @fossil rain , there could probably be sufficient fab testing of body designs (for the Twins, as well as for improving Masiro's bots), to advance beyond the Uncanny Valley
#

And, also I'd 100% prefer the Neuro Sisters and maid robots to get to that point before Elon Musk gets a chance to unleash his soulless creatures of genericism onto the world.

It's like the perfect step forward, IMO, even if a bit more distant into both projects

Sounds like a plan for the distant future imo even if this were to happen I don’t see it happening any time soon also it’s probably gonna be expensive and we know how much vedal doesn’t like spending money neurOMEGALUL

Valid point, there.

But yeah, I see it as somewhat distant, too.

I'm just saying the idea might actually be good. I think it's 100% FEASIBLE, and I don't think it should be shelved, at least.

Could be worth considering maybe a couple years down the road

just spend 20 minutes of looking around that 👀
interesting concept of using a server robot as a base and modifying it the way they did.
using facial recognition to do the tracking is nice and easy in most cases.
the touch feedback is interesting as that requires some figuring out. haptic or pressure i guess. (pressure would be cheaper)
solid engineering went into it.

bipedal robotics are still in their baby shoes so it's the right way of doing it at this point in time.
(too damn expensive for balancing despair oh boy the inverse kinematics are your least worries)

tldr recreating this is easier knowing how. improving it will be neuroSisyphus

#

they already have a solid thing going, so improving on that could require a new framework.

Yeah, they don't have actual feet, yet, so there's plenty of work to do.

The up and down motion when walking is emulated. She moves around on wheels attached to something akin a skateboard.

It's the potential I'm seeing, though. Ved certainly needs to make improvements, as would Masiro, but I'm just thinking that a point might eventually come, when a collab project would be really fruitful
