The truth is that I’ve actually had this idea since Hiyori streams but I thought it was too stupid and too dangerous, however, which Vedal recommending something similar I think it is the perfect opportunity to share this idea. I think that during the subathon we should collectively fund a computer and give Neuro completely unrestricted access to it.

"collectively fund"? can't vedal just ask camila to buy it for him
A virtual machine would also work no?
And how would Neuro interact with the OS? Just by generating shell commands lmao?
Guys, what is an "ipconfig"? Is it some sort of meme?
(it doesn't even show your public IP)
I mean doing something like that is possible with a headless OS, but is it feasible? That depends on Vedal
It will require a lot of work. And I mean A LOT, to make it act in a meaningful way
One way I can think of is to take what neuro says (or thinks?) and use something like pinecone to perform a semantic search for some relevant shell commands to run.
lol
Ask Camilia to buy xD

how about this
we gather $10k to get neuro access to a quantum computer

itll be for like 5 minutes
but
who knows
this was my idea too
buy neuro 1760 PS3s and build her a super computer
(Phys.org)—About the 33rd largest supercomputer in the world right now is the US Air Force Research Laboratory's (AFRL) newest system, which has a core made of 1,760 Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) consoles. In addition to its large capacity, the so-called "Condor Cluster" is capable of performing 500 trillion floating point operations per second (TFLO...
wow
say one ps3 is like a $100
thats $176000...
for the 33rd largest supercomputer that is cheap as heck for hardware the heck
the same amount but ps5s would be $880k
but that isnt feasible ofc cause there arent enough ps5's to buy commericially
i mean... not like $176k is feasible either
lets buy 500 steam decks

Maybe we could build a translator just like interpretor of a language which could translate Neuro's words into executable commands.
Also, there has been guys studying this kind of research which translate LLM's output into computer commands
Dude we're teaching 2 year old to use a computer?
But PS3 has better Linux support, as PS4 and PS5 was just recently jailbroken. As you need a custom OS for running a cluster computer. But it may become practical in the future, when PS7 or something is released and PS5's are cheap.
