I thought vedal initially made a temporary solution, but after plenty of months, he still presents the list of songs during karaoke in the form of a wall of text that scrolls past the screen at the speed of light. It's a wonder that the text isn't spinning around in circles and flashing in RGB colors yet to make it even less readable.
It's about time for an upgrade. I created a basic make-do mock-up of what I imagined as an idea for how the songs could be presented instead. It would slide down from the top of the screen, stay there for about 10 seconds, and then slide off-screen again. (This is also much more screenshottable). The arrow at the top is there to keep track of where we're at.
I also provided a second mock-up, which is an easier alternative solution that has the same slide in-out idea, but it's a top-down list and it's on the left/right side, and also has that arrow.
Also, the name of the current song could also be presented somewhere during the song. The exact location doesn't really matter.
As for the implementation, that can be worked around and modified a bit if the current mock-up showcases aren't quite what was envisioned or is a bit too complex to solve. Any change is better than whatever we currently have going on tho lmao
