Vedal vtuber model pinned to Neuro's head

The other day someone in chat asked to pin the turtle model on top of Neuro's head but it's not possible since she runs inside Unity.
So I did some experiments and managed to make it happen !
I used a Vtube Studio integration from the Unity Asset Store to move the model using Unity, it's not perfect but it's something I guess...
(Btw I choosed not to rotate the vtuber model because it looks so scuffed )

I don't know if it's going to be useful for Vedal but at least I tried something

You might need to add a scaling vector to multiply the headAttachPosition x, y coordinates by, I experimented with it some and in my unity app moving by 2 is a small move, but in VTube studio it flew off the screen. Rotate is doable but requires both rigging and passing a custom parameter through the plugin.

The rigging would just be a simple rotation deformer centered at the feet of the live2d model with a new parameter for it and then you pass a custom parameter through plugin and map it in VTube studio and you could make it more tame using sliders in VTube studio

It's also possible to track if duck/cat/frog toggles are on and adjust position further away automatically

I did some testing and yep you're right the coordinates are off between Unity and Vtube Studio. I also noticed having a different resolution for each applications make it even worse. I literally have no idea how to fix this, perhaps it's possible to reduce this issue by setting up the scene the same way as Vtube Studio does

Excellent! I hope Vedal implements it. Maybe he can get his friend that made the model, Anny or Any(one) to make the dig in its claws if there's more than x movement speed.

I love more responsive animation. Even the little blips and eye-movements when Neuro was watching Vedal's screen when watching Neuro Fumos on the last dev stream or the one before it, made her seem more "alive".

You mean make the tutel going back into the shell if Neuro moves too quickly ?

You have to keep in mind that Vedal has a lot of work to do and he has to prioritize important things, maybe it's on his list maybe not, we'll see
