#Dedicated Emoji Servers

We should have dedicated Emoji Servers for Neurocord.

While I think that some of the emojis aren't really Neuro related, and I feel they are knocking important emojis out of slots, I do understand why they exist.

However, many great emojis are being lost, due to this, and it might be a good idea to have a server for the various emojis available.

A few options I can think of are as follows:

BY CHARACTER
For live emojis, servers can have a channel for suggested emojis, a non-posting channel with the emoji image, a channel to test the emojis, and an emoji list channel.

We'd need one for Neuro, Evil, Vedal, and extras. Keep the main ones here, duplicated, but allow people who can cross-post emojis to make use of that functionality.

Alternatively, no one can post in those servers, except mods/admins, and it's just there to hold them for Nitro users. That mitigates any moderation issues.

ARCHIVAL
Open new archive servers, when old emojis get retired, as the slots in each fill up. Nitro users can then join each new archive server, and still use their old (but abandoned -- geddit? Abandoned Archive?) favourites.

BY TYPE OF EMOJI
As only Nitro users can access animated emojis, anyway, make all Neurocord emojis the static ones, but move the animated ones to a separate emoji server.

This will free up about half the emoji slots, but for anyone who wants to use animated ones and can do so, they can join the animated emoji server.

NOTE: This option does NOT eliminate archived servers, but it would mitigate the need for as many

You have to have Nitro in order to use these servers. Also, we have plenty of emoji slots anyway, there was never any shortage of then.

Only Nitro can send emojis from other servers.

There was no such emote as :evilComfy:

We literally have over 70 slots for emotes, why would we delete them? Only if they are bad quality ones, I guess.

I am aware of this, which was why I was saying probably the animated ones being separate made sense, as those can't be used at all, unless Nitro

Ok, I definitely remembered a version of neuroComfy with Evil, but only her. Not referring to comfy

However, you may be right it wasn't an emote. It might have been a suggestion that was never implemented. Maybe someone posted a png of it.

My bad on that. Sorry.

I was not aware of this. I asked in #general-network and got this response:
we reached there ages ago at this rate we need dedicated neuro emote server(s)
I don't know if there is a way for me to check the amount, so I was going by what I was told, when I asked.

Again, my bad.

While I guess that answers the questions at hand, I suppose it is possible Discord is just glitching for me, then, because some stuff does appear to be getting removed from my Favourites, and I've been having to add them back.

I don't think the idea, however, is actually something to shelf permanently, though. If we do ever run low on slots, I think the options I listed could still be useful to keep note of. Especially the animated ones being separate, due to Nitro being needed BOTH for animated emojis AND for cross-server emojis.

Given that I appear to have been mistaken in multiple areas, I'll be fine if the thread is locked, but I'd still appreciate it, if Moderation at least keeps note of the idea, should it ever become relevant, in future.

Thanks.

They may have referred to the number of sticker slots, that's actually a big problem, yes.

Oh.... It could have been a sticker... That would make sense...

Sticker servers, then? neuroTehe

You can only have 5 stickers without server boosts.

Oof. Alright, fair enough.

While I could recommend ideas on that, I doubt that would be in any reasonable plan. It'd involve bots that can be invited and swap messages or something. Doubt V wants to do that.

Alright, that helps, though.

Thanks for reading my error-prone rant of a suggestion.
