#Subtitles for when Neuro is singing

I think karaoke streams would be more enjoyable if we can get subtitles for the song lyrics, instead of just the title staying up there the whole time. Neuro sings a lot of Japanese, which makes sense considering how she started, but I don't speak Japanese and most of the time I don't know how to react other than with an "Ayaya EDM". This is probably not something that's gonna be easy to implement but I'd like to see this happen before Neuro branches out to singing more songs in different languages. I made a mockup for what this might look like, I can update this with any other suggestions anyone has (I'd like to get the song title back in there somehow...)

At the very least having the Japanese lyrics would be nice

I'm pretty sure this is possible, from what I can see vedal has 2 options for subtitles:

  1. Manually doing them by using Subtitle software with Karaoke Timing (like Aegisub)
and importing the files through unity (some members like me have experience with Aegisub's timing feature)

(Might not work for covers that modifies the lyrics from the original, or songs that don't have a lyrics source yet or are not timed)
2. Connecting to a lyric site's API (like Musixmatch) and getting the timings of the lyrics (if they are available)

The subtitles (if they are ever implemented) will not only help understand japaneese/any other language songs, but may also be used to add more atmosphere to the song. For example if subtitles were glitching during "Digital girl" glitch parts it would be wicked neuroPog.

Only question:

Does it use a proprietary subbing format? Or does it use formats like .LRC or .ass?
