Hello, Neurocord!
I am in the process of cutting down the 12-hour stream in order to make it more viable to watch. My goal is to remove silence and Twitch-related stuff (shoutouts and other) and make the VOD watchable, probably in one sitting. I have a draft cut of the first hour, shrunk down to 29 minutes. The second hour will be around 30 minutes as well, and I expect others will be the same or shorter.

I need your feedback:

  • Would you watch this kind of cut?
  • Do you like the pacing of the draft video?

This is a great idea. I'm not sure how Vedal feels about it (? Maybe you spoke to him already?) But I feel like this is a great way to help promote the content to people who don't feel they have time to watch the entirety of the streams. Can't wait to see what you accomplish!

I am still debating about making it even shorter, with only notable moments. But I am not a good editor, and I don't have any experience with that, so that's pretty much all I can do in my position.

Upon reviewing the footage, I decided not to follow this project.

The reason is simple - there is too much content (related and unrelated) in 12 hour footage. Even further down the line, the most I can cut is 30 minutes for each hour, but I need to review the edit manually anyway, because the tech is not ready for production yet - makes false cuts and leaves silence frequently. Also, I am not an experienced editor, so deciding what to leave and what to cut is not that simple for me.
