when you stream there is no clear rule that it is 'for profit' even tho u 'can' receive donations subs
unless you start selling products, or making a subathon with the explicit goal to raise money for urself (maybe), or say promote your stream with that avatar's image on the internet or a board etc
as far as streaming goes u're just doing a personal project or entertainment and if the artist allowed that sort of usage u are ok, they can even try to sue twitch but not u xD
because subs and bits are a product of twitch, not yours
