#Captain America, a different direction

Hello! I've had this idea for this deck for a while now and it's been festering in my brain ever since I saw this card. The general concept is getting Sunforger out early, playing Cap, and then just producing tokens left and right while trying my best to control the board. Once the board is big enough, cast [[Mercadia's Downfall]] or [[Surge to Victory]].

Unfortunately, I have a few concerns.

  1. Not having enough gas/card draw. This one isn't a huge concern considering I can just play stuff from my deck for a WR but I'd like to still be able to play creatures, especially since a wide board is how I plan on winning.

  2. Sunforger is both my commander and my Achilles' Heel. If it gets exiled, I'm so screwed.

  3. I'm worried about trying to do too many things here, i.e., avoiding TOO much jank. Maybe it's too late, but I'd like to have a deck that isn't just pure jank.
