Hey guys, could use some advice on my Lorehold deck. I think I might be going the wrong direction. My initial impressions were cheat out really big spells with Miracle, but I think Lorehold might actually be more of a discard commander. so i wanted to build him as well, however i think he is a reanimtor commander
focusing on cheating out big artifacts and enchantment
using his miracle effects for mass reanimation, wrath and few timmy spells
and even if you dont go for a reanimator strategy
i feel like the list lack way to put pressure
I think you could get away with a Timmy list. I haven’t don’t much theory crafting yet but I have been looking at your decklist and I feel like Big Mana variation or a spell slinger variation could be very unique.
[[Double Vision]] or [[Arcane bombardment]] could get you a crazy amount of value and [[Combustible Gearhulk]] and cards similar could be that “Bite” you were mentioning.

I think Apex of Power is a bit of an awkward include, at least when you aim to play it as a miracle. The mana you get from it only lasts until the end of the current step/phase you're in, so most likely that's going to be either the upkeep or the draw step. that means the only things you can use that mana for are instants or activated abilities. The exile-draw is neat, but given it's hard to use Apex's mana properly, that might also end up a bit awkward.

like the deck uses lot of cheap cards
so call forth the elements could deal 2 damage to all creature and opponent control
Given you aim to cast it for 2 mana, I think that's still ok value
plus, you can use topdeck manipulation to make sure it casts larger spells and deals moer damage

then add the 9 remaning cards that should be in the deck

would u remove a land for [[angel of the ruins]]
I could see that being an option. I usually run angel in blink style decks. I’ve heard the argument that the cycling ability is validating to substitute it for a land and maybe in a deck that doesn’t have a lot of early game plays you could. I think this deck has so much cheap ramp you would probably want to just play a ramp spell. And a 5/7 flyer with removal stapled to it without support doesn’t really feel like the cataclysmic plays I would want to be making
the deck would have support since it is an artifact that is good for reanimation
@dreamy valve I think you have too many generically good Boros cards and haven’t built around your commander enough. Most of the cards are good in a vacuum but duds with the commander ability you want to utilize.
In that case I think you could. Do you think the deck has space for a 7 mana drop dedicated to removal, or will produce enough unused mana a turn to be able to cycle consistently?

Nice list. A great mix of slashy fun high cmc non permanents and func adds. I see a lot a vehicles/stations, what is the plan with those?

station is easily crewable making a threat
the vehicle can be crew sometimes
really loving smothering tithe in this lsit
I removed Apex of Power because of the timing restrictions and added Vow of Loyalty instead!
