#The Earth King (Earthbending and +1/+1s)

I ended up with a lot of the better Earthbending-related or supporting cards from Avatar and Final Fantasy, so I'm trying to make a commander deck to take advantage of them (and not necessarily jump into buying more expensive cards).

The idea is to get lots of lands in play with the Earth King, 4 power creatures, and several other spells that pull from the deck. There are a few landfall benefits as well, but I'm trying to keep it relatively simple with giving trample to big/Earthbent creatures. Since earthbending makes so many +1/+1s, I added cards to take advantage of those tokens.

I'm a few cards over with what I'm playtesting, but do you all have any advice to streamline a little better? Thanks!

These all come to mind as fitting your plan depending on budget. Removed some recommendations based on price already like doubling season and the ozolith.

This is so helpful, thanks for sharing it. I appreciate the budget options too. I tested the deck out tonight at the local shop and it worked pretty decently. Snakeskin veil woudl have saved me though!

small details, jumbo cactuar with 1 power doesnt trigger earth king but it is definitely one of those fun/pet card that works fine in the deck

in terms of landfall attack trigger + payoff its hard to beat the simple stuff like the rampaging baloths in the side deck

most decks that can run the elemental crystals usually benefit from the base version so you can consider [[emerald medallion]] which is the cheapiest of its cycle (green already has best ramp and is less likely to cast multiple spell in a turn rather than a big one) and especially worth it for commander players that has somewhat solidify their main colour identity as it is a card that basically helps any other decks in its corresponding colour if swaped around

it is one of the most generic cost reduction ramp but in most case where you dont run a [[bane of progress]] it is stronger than most 2 mana non land ramp if not on par with land ramp

swap evolving wild and terramorphic for [[shire terrace]] and alike so they can tap for mana OR fetch

it is fine to run Xtapped lands in any decks but in this case, in a mono colour which it is not colour heavy it is fine to have colourless source

maybe2? and usually 3+ colours would care about the fixing with tapped basic

note that all the panorama can be runned in decks that doesnt have other land types but the function is exactly the same as the one mentioned above
