I'm putting together a Yennett deck myself after seeing one in action. Seemed fun to build and play.
I'm trying to create a sideboard to fill with cards to push it between B2-B3. I don't want to bring it into a B2 game though if it's too polished though.
Any ideas what to leave in for B2, if possible?
If these don't work, what to remove/add in later?
Thanks!

i doubt it would become the so called "tooo polished", for starter, i would replace [[obelisk of esper]] with another 3 mana rock, it can be as simple as [[command sphere]] or a [[middnight clock]]
at 3 mana there are so many good mana rocks that helps make a deck run smoother
and with a 5 mana commander, 3 mana ramp is both your most flexible spot and the most important, because 4 land drops + ramp on T3 = commander
while the 2 mana mana ramp rocks are fine, they have lesser utility, unless you plan on tapping them for immediate 1 drop, etc but that would be another discussion since the deck is about getting big spells
sphinx getting stuck in hand would be one of the roughest place for the deck
if you ever want to invest more into the deck [[$urza incubator]] is probably worth it here

thought vessal has a 3 mana counter part, can run both, [[decanter of endless water]]
time wipe is fine and all, but i want to bring up some other alternatives
[[split up]]
[[cannot move]]
No card found for “cannot move”
[[do not move]]
ofc the more interesting and "Rare" it is, the more $ pricey it gets
my favourite ones are actually the sacrifice wipes since they get around most if not all the common protection in B2
love to see their face when [[heroic intervention]] is being useless in their hand
[[psychic surgery]] is an interesting choice here
is it meant for something or meta game or entirely for fun
[[scheming symmetric]] is something you can do to trigger it
[[mystic sanctuary]]
there is a few black identity lands that put creature back on top
i think enchantments above the 5 mana value mark are some of the most impactful cards and lot* of niche fun options aas well
[[ash barren]] swap a land, every little bit to reduce the chance of drawing lands
i would use the 2 drop mana rocks colourless mana to pay for it after needing the next turn basic land drop in hand
i believe there are better options than [[!monastery siege]]
perhaps you do want [[brain storm]] in here to order the top deck?
[[retreat tp coralheim]] is much stronger with commander that taps for activated ability, i would try to swap it for more value
No card found for “retreat tp coralheim”
[[retreat to coralhelm]]
and then lands can do MDFC so that the chance of whiffing decreases as long as those have odd cmc
[[extinction event]] is even but it can be a one sided wipe
and get rid of tokens
That makes sense, I do have sphere. I could look into Midnight clock though
I was hung up on this as well! I tried to add both put card up top pf library Aminatou and haunted crossroad plus a lot of scrying. I'll check out urza's incubator though! thanks!
oh, this could be a great and cheaper main deck card. thanks!
I'm not sure I'm keeping this one. it was one of the first scry cards I put in it besides Crystal Ball.
I forgot about this card! I just may add this one! Thanks!
oh smart, yeah; tokens being mana cost = 0. I like it!
yeah, because going tall decks / control colours tends to have troublem against go wide tokens
reread that card, keyword is "that library". it does nothing for your own deck
unless you play scheming symmetric or ways to make everyone tutor (green group hug style land fetch) it only trigggers when your opponent tutors
