I got a shiny Tonberry card and I love that Tonberry is just a lil guy who creeps slowly at you with a knife and kills you as slowly as possible but with incredibly deadly intent and power. So I'm building a pauper Tonberry deck, definitely bracket 1, where Tonberry in the command zone is the only creature. I'm filling it with buffing enchantments (some that draw me cards), combat tricks that buff and give effects like lifelink, indestructable, or regenerate/pseudo-regenerate, some cards that debuff opponents creatures with -1/-1, and finally some cards that draw two and lose me two life. But still I only have 25 cards so far. I need A LOT more to make it a deck. What other types of cards should I add. It's all common so I can't rely on a few game-changing rare cards, I need to rely on archetypes with lots of functional reprints or similar type cards to build a reliable playstyle. So, any thoughts?

Very cool, just keep looking at mono-black auras and equipments and you'll find something

not sure if you have enough draw, removal, before putting more pumps, protection is sort of like removal against removal

Creature — Salamander Horror
This creature enters tapped with a stun counter on it. (If it would become untapped, remove a stun counter from it instead.)
Chef's Knife — During your turn, this creature has first strike and deathtouch.
Fearful monsters that creep ever forward, knives poised with deadly intent.
