So the main issues I've run into with this deck are the following:

  1. Vampires seem to cost a lot of mana for their P/T
  2. After a boardwipe, it is basically impossible to get back into the game.
  3. It is also very slow to get going with mostly getting 1-2 Blood Tokens per turn, and not having great ways of attacking into crowded boardstates.

So I'd love to hear suggestions on how to solve these issues, some card recommendations, and what I should cut from the deck.

I have this deck. I turned it into an artifact token drain/burn deck

She isn't the best for vampires typal since they get expensive.

#

She is best for vampire token or smaller ones to generate blood tokens and drain ppl

#

At max you get 1 blood token on each person's turn if you can get a vampire to etb on their turns

#

One way around the expensive cost is [[!sneak attack]]

And if you use effects like [[!dial of the sun]]

You get around the sacrifice part or you like the sacrifice part by using recursion return them to hand or reanimate them again to the battlefield

#

Have aristocrat effects that give you pay off for sacrificing things

if you wanted to build it as a vampire swing out there are options to improve upon that aspect within the deck.

[[!arterial alchemy]] turn your blood tokens into equipment. it's mid but gives you more things to grow your power/board.

Thank you so much! Sorry for responding late, didn't get notifications from this thread for some reason.

My general gameplan was to create and sacrifice as many blood tokens as possible, but I think I got sidetracked by trying to pick useful vampires instead of figuring out how to get cheap blood tokens. I'll def look into some vampire token generation, and probably try to replace some of the higher cost vampires with lower cost ones just to make sure I can get an etb trigger on each turn

Sounds good.

#

if you want ideas on what to add i can post my deck list.

#

if you are going the route of making more blood tokens there are a handful of other things to add. [[!strephan]] [[!ivora]]

rakdos doesn't have access to too much ramp so having a way to make treasure would be a good idea.

#

that's why digging into the creature based aristocrat is a good idea
