Anyone got any advice on this decklist?
I've been goldfishing it and it often feels awkward.
Feels like I don't have any steam if I don't have a good hand that does: Ramp to 5 => Play elesh norn => Loop a bunch of etbs (god forbid I miss a land drop along the way)
sideboard/considering is cards I looked at but didn't use (if its $10+ it might be because I don't want to buy it)

Are you firm on running Elesh as the commander? The problem you're describing sounds like an inherent aspect of her: she needs to be in play before you cast any of your value ETBs (which are often cheaper than 5-mana).
You could swap to having Abdel Adrian head the deck and Elesh in the 99 so that the gameplan is to play the early cards out on curve and then rebuy their effects on turn 5 when you cast Abdel.
