#Shorikai Wincon Recommendations.

Hi all! I have here a Shorikai, Genisis Engine deck that I've been adding to and changing for the past 8 months or so, and it has seen some drastic changes over time.

I am currently running into trouble with actually winning the game "legitimately" (i.e. combat damage, loss of life, Approach of the 2nd Sun, etc.). I was a part of a casual commander tournament, where the power level of decks varied from high 6 to almost cEDH. I was pretty much paired with similar PL the whole night, but (long story short) I found myself slowing my games down way way too much. I really enjoy interacting with the table, but I felt really bad with my extension of the games. I do realize that I should learn my deck better and understand the lines, but I still find that the deck takes a while to find it's wincons/finishers.

The main idea for the deck when I constructed it was resiliency and inevitability. I really enjoy a good, hard fight; where I can restore my board state from a devastating board wipe, or fill my grave with artifacts and establish my board state.

Now for the question: What are some wincons/finishers or ways to find them that you would recommend for this deck? Currently, I am looking to use Iso-Reversal to provide infinite mana to activate either "infinite" draws into Approach, Extort, or "infinite" draws to activate Psychosis Crawler.

Side question: if the above question is not the question I should be asking, what should I do to make the deck run more smoothly?

Sorry for the giant wall of text, and I'm also sorry if it's confusing, but please ask for clarification if it's needed! Thank you for your help and time! 😁

PS. While I do enjoy using some stax pieces, I really want to lean into Pillowfort stax rather that straight up hard-stax (i.e. Aven Mindcensor, Deafening Silence, etc.) [minus Inventive Iteration, that one I absolutely enjoy playing, and it's easily telegraphed]

How about tutors to find your wincons. You don't need multiple wincons, just one tutorable one is good enough

Good point, I'll have to try and find a few. Any recommendations (besides Enlightened and Mystical)?

Sorcery
As an additional cost to cast this spell, sacrifice an artifact or creature.
Search your library for an Equipment or Vehicle card, put that card onto the battlefield, then shuffle. If it has mana value less than the sacrificed permanent's mana value, scry 2.
The Wanderer sighed in relief as the Reality Chip tethered her wayward spark to Kamigawa.

Maybe not this one

I read wrongly

All good! I did see Reality Heist, but it's not a full search...

#

And you have to already have a few artifacts for the mana cost to be efficient

I'd suggest playing [[baral chief]] since he works well with your control strategy as well as loots you a lot of cards

[[Dragon throne of tarkir]] allows you to use your commander without actually crewing it
