Looking for some guidance on my [[Veyran, Voice of Duality]] brew. Going for my first storm archetype edh deck. I really want this to function and win as a storm deck primarily, but I understand that with Veyran and his usual suspect of creature includes like Third Path Iconoclast, Voltron and go-wide can also be win-cons or even themes. Anyway, I've playtested this a fair bit and it's hard to get a grasp on how well it functions for several reasons: A lot of interaction, indeterminite amount of mana from Jeska's Will, draw from Mystic Remora, etc. So that's why I turn to those with experience for guidance. Appreciate any feedback!

• Keeping the budget around $250-$300.
• Minimizing tutors and infinites for the time being.

To summarize, the questions I'm facing:

  • Is this list not focused enough for storm, e.g., cantrips / storm payoffs?
  • Am I better off scrapping this for a commander that perhaps more directly supports storm, like [[Birgi]] or [[Urabrask]]?

Legendary Creature — God
Whenever you cast a spell, add manar. Until end of turn, you don't lose this mana as steps and phases end.
Creatures you control can boast twice during each of your turns rather than once.

Like her well of stories, Birgi's horn never runs dry.
