I am attempting to make the most of some new cards from lotr and mkm in a cool take the crown deck, the main plan is similar to nelly borca's goal, but I also wanted access to a few cards in black. Notable breena, kardur and karazikar. I don't know if that makes the addition worthwhile. This is a rough idea so far and I'd appreciate any help narrowing down ideas!

I suspect you want more one mana instant speed interaction. Your mana curve looks really narrow right now. I'd guess you'd end up with slightly clunky draws where you're trying to land threats on your own turn, but struggling to hold up the 3+ mana for your instants on other people's turns.

I'd suggest at least Kharn? It has a tendency to be passed around by whoever isn't currently in a winning position and people often conflate monarchy with winning position which means you, as the queen who ostensibly has the monarchy, don't get the cards everyone else enjoys.

I’m currently building one that is more political and less pure goad. Building in fogs and damage reflection is great for once it is you and one other player, as goad kind of falls down then.
