Atraxa, proliferating deck

I would like to build an Atraxa deck for MTG. I am very new to building decks (I have maybe swapped 2-4 cards from one premade) is there anywhere I could start?

Hello to you !

Atraxa is a very versatile commander and you got plenty of ways to build it.

As exemple :

• Infect
• Planeswalker
• +1/+1

Be aware that Atraxa is a 4th color one and mana base can be hard to build for someone new to the building deck world. I think the professor have done a great video about it.

Proliferate is about each type of counter but except if you want to build the specific Millenial Calendar stay away from Time counters.

To start, what type of atraxa do you want ?

• An original
• An ferocious one
• A funny one
• A "it doesnt touch the board" one ?

I'm a type of builder who build basing on my feelings, or about a specific card i want to play...what about you ?

Also whats your play group ? Chill ? Experience ? Rich one ?

Right now i Just play against my friend. He's been playing since 2016. He royally can sweep me cause he has to many cards to count. The idea i want my Atraxa deck to build around is toxic and 1/1 counters, possibly making creatures off the 1/1 counters as well. I get Atraxa is kind of putting a big "I am the big threat here" sign in front of me. So i know besides putting in the poison counters, I do need a back up or two, should my Atraxa be put back in the commander slot.
I also need recomendations for counterspells
