I'm looking to make both a Tivit deck that is fun for the whole table to play against but have a sideboard of cards that can seriously vault this deck up in power if I feel the need to give it a lot more juice. I have a lot of cuts to make but I'd also like to trim any card that seems too mean or broken and send it to the Sideboard so I can work on a list for swapping out certain cards to instantly make the deck much scarier. Course I can also add more cards too if there is some good synergy I missed.

Got it down to only needing 15 cuts then I'd like to make a nice list for what to swap out for the Sideboard to turn the Power Level up for tougher matches.

@uneven umbra some commanders aren't meant for fun, tivit just like urza, kinnin, toxrill, tergrid, and etc. I would suggest choosing another commander or playing high power with the deck only, there is no in between

Well I've gotten it down to 100 and I think the deck is pretty decently balanced as is with a couple of finisher cards but the Sideboard has the brutal stuff including the Time Sieve infinite.

interesting hmm, side note tho, time sieve should only be played in cEDH as it's like the only huge line in tivit decks

This is what I've got with the main being good but not too brutal but the Sideboard has the oomph

I kinda gave up on a voting theme so it's basically all Blink and Artifacts now

tivit blink is pretty strong cuz of esper color but i also have a blink/token theme tivit deck

Pretty high, it's meant for a 6 person pod that pulls out some big guns

ah i see, but i thought u said u wanted this to be a fun deck to play against lol don't get me wrong now, i love high power, but i wouldn't say its necessarily fun to play against, i might have gotten confused on what u were trying to build i guess

The rest of the pod doesn't hold back too much on power so I doubt this'll rustle anyone up too bad

yea it's pretty good for high power for sure, if u were looking to power down tho, the cards i would recommend taking out would be: displacer kitten, academy manufactor, expropriate, but other than that, deck looks fair 👍

Yeah now I'm just trying to trim down the Sideboard a bit then make a list to swap the Sideboard in to make it go in even harder

i feel that haha, also our decks play the main pieces of tivit basically, so u prolly won't find anything new in my deck unless its the various few exotic cards i chose that not a lot of tivit decks run

idk man, the only things that come to mind that are stronger are the staples unfortunately, being like cheap tutors and rhystic study, remora, etc

the ones that stood out to me were ether sphinx, illusion of choice, commanders sphere, model of unity, grudge keeper, reverse engineer, kappa turtle guy, skyclave app, split decision, and whirler rogue

I'd keep Split and Kappa cause Kappa can be a freaking issue being huge and unblockable

also ik u said u didn't want stax, but i would highly recommend grand arbitor the 4th, he literally makes tivit a turn cheaper on curve and cuts tax for the first time incase tivit somehow gets killed with his ridiculous ward 3

Do spells with both colors cost 2 less?

unlike the gruul goblin that specifically says "green and red spells cost 1 less" as grand arbitor has two different txts saying it

so the goblin makes red and green spells cost 1 less even if the spell is both colors, while grand arbiter says white spells cost 1 less period and blue same thing

as u probably already know, magic can be really confusing sometimes

dark rit is good, but yea if u good on mana then its really not synergistic towards a tivit deck, farewell is a petcard of mine lol but i understand why it could be boring

Cranial Plating I learned can be Instant speed with its other effect so showing chump blockers suddenly become a super blockers sounds funny

Also massive Flying Commander damage is annoying

Oh agreed, I see him on CEDH lists for a reason but I tried not to build him around going infinite

May drop Time Seive all together cause while I can admire infinite mana or damage, I find infinite turns dumb

technically it's not a true infinite since it turns itself off when one of ur opponents dies, unless u have a doubler for ur tokens
