Hey y'all, building a Satoru Umezawa deck, trying to go more into the "big stuff and some ETB value" plan rather than the Eldrazi one shot kill plan as that seems more fun and less powerful (also much cheaper), have to cut 5 cards but also swap suggestions would be welcome (I am trying to keep the price of the deck down and a lot of the more expensive includes are cards I already own but would be willing to hear swaps or considerations for upgrades!) Thanks!

Also should I be playing more cheap unblockables/fliers and less big stuff? Is the level of interaction ok?
Hey! Love the idea. Satoru has a lot of appeal for me in the ETB style like you're doing. I think you're probably a little heavy on the big creatures. The key thing to remember with Satoru is you want to be unblocked as much as possible to get those sweet ninjutsu ablities on the go.
Boardwipes and removal will really slow us down so some protection I think is needed. Cards like [[ashnods intervention]] and [[mizzium skin]] are personal favourites but theres loads of alternatives.
I'd be wary of lightning greaves. Shroud means you can't target the creature its on with abilities and spells you control. I hardly ever run it because it causes more problems than it solves
[[change of plans]] is another cool one
Instant
Each of X target creatures you control connive. You may have any number of them phase out. (To have a creature connive, draw a card, then discard a card. If you discarded a nonland card, put a +1/+1 counter on that creature. Treat phased-out permanents and anything attached to them as though they don't exist until their controller's next turn.)
[[ghostly wings]] is also a nice save for satoru
and I'd throw in a [[dokuchi silencer]] in there for some more removal

(
, Return an unblocked attacker you control to hand: Put this card onto the battlefield from your hand tapped and attacking.)
Whenever Dokuchi Silencer deals combat damage to a player, you may discard a creature card. When you do, destroy target creature or planeswalker that player controls.

if you want some really fun big stuff how about [[Arvinox, the Mind Flail]] 🙃
Legendary Enchantment Creature — Horror
Arvinox, the Mind Flail isn't a creature unless you control three or more permanents you don't own.
At the beginning of your end step, exile the bottom card of each opponent's library face down. For as long as those cards remain exiled, you may look at them, you may cast permanent spells from among them, and you may spend mana as though it were mana of any color to cast those spells.

(You may cast this spell for its overload cost. If you do, change its text by replacing all instances of "target" with "each.")
