Have you considered ways to clone Xander, with cards like Mirror Image, Rite of Replication etc?

With these you get both ETB and LTB triggers

As for wincons, you could go for the clone route again but this time by making clones that ignore the legend rule

Or creatures that care about your opponent's graveyard size like Consuming Aberration

Tergrid, God of Fright to steal anything they discard or sacc with Xander's triggers

I looked at Consuming aberration, I didn't know about tergrid ill have to add that to my buy list
