I mean, codex is ok but will heavily depend on your manabase. Depending on the deck there is likely better card draw you could be running
The biggest challenge for a 5 color deck is going to be the mana base.
Now, it's hard to give concrete recommendations without knowing what exactly your gameplan is other than "5 color artifact deck".
Running artifacts will of course make it easier to cast things since most cost generic mana. However I have no idea what payoffs and synergies you are planning to run here, so it's a bit difficult to give recommendations regarding the mana base
if your deck is still color dependant and want to keep the cost of your deck down, I would recommend scewing your manabase towards green, which will let you play land fetchers like [[rampant growth]] and [[cultivate]] etc more easily.
