#Unity plug-in support for iPad Air M3?

The documentation indicates that an iPad Pro M4 is required to run custom iOS Unity apps with the Looking Glass Go.

I'm wondering if there's a reason why the iPad Air M3 wouldn't work? The Go works with the iPhone 15 w/A16 which is far less powerful than the M3 on the iPad Air.

I'm asking because I need to purchase iPads to pair with these displays for an exhibit, and the price point for the Air M3 is much lower than the iPad Pro M4.

Thank you.

It should work it’s just less powerful than the m4, so you won’t get the same performance out of it.

Depends greatly on what kind of content you’re looking to run, are you going for interactive apps or image/video content?

so there is no explicit requirement for that device, that's just the device it performs best with? that's great news. have you tested with the current model iPad (A16)?

i'm exploring options. video, interactive model, or both. i get adequate performance using the sample app with the iphone 15 with A16 chip. the current model iPad can be had for < $300 with an A16. the iPad Air with M3 is closer to $500.

I’d recommend testing it with your own content and determine if the performance works for your use case
