#Unity Plugin or LG Bridge Issue?

Hi all, I'm working with a 32" display and am running into an issue getting things from Unity to display on the LG. Since beginning to run into the problem on my own project, I've taken a step back and am currently experimenting trying to get one of the example scenes to display from the Looking Glass package (I'm using the first example scene - "Framing Content with Hologram Camera"). When I attempt to toggle the preview (ctrl + e) on the Hologram Camera script in the inspector, I receive two errors in the console (see the first image). Since it mentions no LG detected and LG Bridge potentially not running, I then verified it is running and can see the display connected (see the second image). Following that, I decided to try using LG Studio to potentially further troubleshoot the issue, but when I open that I receive a "Looking Glass Bridge not running" error (see the third image). I then used the Test your Setup (https://docs.lookingglassfactory.com/getting-started/looking-glass-32#test-your-setup) script on the documentation site and that runs successfully and displays the test image on the display (see the fourth image). Lastly as one additional test, I have opened several models from the Blocks site (https://blocks.glass/) and every one of those have successfully displayed on the LG. With all that said, I am stumped on what to do/try next and would appreciate any suggestions on being able to get my/any Unity scenes to display! Hopefully it is something simple/stupid that I am doing!

Machine/Software context:

  • Windows 10
  • i9 with 64GB of RAM and a 3090
  • Newest versions of Unity, LG Bridge, LG Studio, LG Core SDK, and the LG Unity plugin

General troubleshooting I've tried:

  • Exiting/restarting LG Bridge and Unity
  • Reimporting all LG Unity packages/the plugin
  • Restarting the LG display
  • Ensuring everything is plugged in/connected

given that the issue is happening in both studio and unity (which use the C++ interprocess pipe) it's possible there may be a second version of bridge running in the background causing the pipe to not be able to be established, can you close bridge and see if there's anything in task manager?

Hey Bryan, I really appreciate the quick response! Unfortunately, I'm no longer at the office/they wouldn't let me take the LG home😅 , but this will be the first thing I take a look at in the morning and I'll get back to you!

I hope it's something that simple lol

Hey @inner quartz, got back around to messing with the display this morning and I hate to say it but exiting/restarting LG Bridge for like the millionth time seemed to do the trick🤷‍♂️ I guess the display just needed a good night's rest lol... Regardless, I really appreciate the quick response again and will definitely come back to you if I run into another issue

To be clear though, there wasn't two instances of Bridge running when I got in so not sure what was causing the pipe to break
