Give up my sense of taste. It’s not too helpful considering the other senses in my opinion. Even though you wouldn’t be able to taste food as great as it used to, it’s not worth sacrificing my other senses which are more ”helpful” if that’s the right way to describe it.

The sense of smell though, is somewhat debatable.

Smell. Sometimes I feel like I don't even smell stuff. Like sure its there but it doesn't usually impact me at all?

Smell - wouldnt affect much if its only a year..
But taste would be interesting, just let people see me casually eating a ghost pepper and drinking lemon juice to see their reactions would be fun.

Hmmm, if I really have to pick one of them, it would be my sense of smell. Its sounds quite horrifying but my instinict tells me that I made the right choice. I think that giving up my sense of smell is prob not gonna be a big deal just because I can't smell, it doesn't mean I can't taste. I am still able to enjoy and taste the delicious food cooked by myself... It tastes delicious even when you can't smell it.
