These rules establish the foundation of conduct and expectations for all members of The Lost Nemo community.
By participating in this server, you acknowledge and agree to comply with all regulations stated below, alongside Discord’s and Growtopia’s Terms of Service.

1. Server Terms & Conditions

1.1. Agreement to Rules & Policies

• By joining this server, you agree to follow all rules and community standards established by The Lost Nemo.
• Violations of Discord’s Platform or The Lost Nemo Terms of Service and Guidelines will result in an irreversible permanent ban.
  1.2. Server Compliance
• All members are expected to act in good faith, respect server regulations, and maintain an environment that supports fairness and safety for everyone.
  1.3. Prohibited Conduct
• Any activity involving illegal content, exploits, automation, or manipulative behavior is strictly prohibited.
• This includes the use of third-party tools, cheats, or any action that compromises server or user integrity.
  1.4. Loopholes & Fairness
• Do not attempt to find or exploit “loopholes” in the rules.
• The Lost Nemo staff reserves the right to take appropriate action against any harmful behavior, even if it is not explicitly mentioned in these rules.
• Fairness is defined by server moderation standards, not by individual interpretation.
  1.5. Use of Common Sense
• Not every possible rule or scenario can be listed. Members are expected to use common sense and act responsibly at all times.

📝 Profile Rules & Conduct

To keep The Lost Nemo a welcoming and respectful environment, all members must maintain a clean, appropriate, and safe profile identity.
Your nickname, profile picture, username, banner, status, and any tags & links in bio must follow these guidelines at all times.

⚠️ Disclaimer: Cases may differ based on severity. Some may result in an immediate Permanent ban, while others may follow the regular process and only be escalated if the user fails to comply.

1. Nicknames & Usernames

1.1. Your nickname and username must not be blank, inappropriate, or contain NSFW, offensive, or illegal terms/symbols.
1.2. Avoid special characters or non-standard text that makes it hard for others to mention or tag you. Only regular QWERTY characters are allowed.
1.3. Do not promote or advertise in your name (e.g., SellAt, BuyCheap, DonateAt).

• 1st Violation: Verbal Warning
• 2nd Violation: Permanent Ban
  1.4. Nickname resets: if staff reset your nickname, you must accept and keep the reset. Reverting, changing it back, or ignoring staff instructions is considered abuse and non-compliance.
• Continued refusal or repeated resets will result in removal of nickname permissions and may escalate to a Permanent ban.
  1.5. Creating or participating in nickname cults or coordinated naming groups is strictly prohibited and may lead to a Permanent ban.

2. Profile Appearance, Pronouns & Status

2.1. All profile elements (profile picture, banner, status, tag, pronouns, and About Me) must remain SFW and non-offensive.

• No NSFW content, slurs, political references, or discriminatory language.
• No promotion of illegal or unauthorized servers.
• Promoting your own Discord server in your bio is acceptable. However, using your status, About Me, pronouns, or any other method to abuse the member list or advertisement purposes is strictly prohibited and will result in punishment.
• Misusing the pronouns field for jokes, offensive terms, or inappropriate references is not allowed and may lead to disciplinary action.
  2.2. Failure to follow a staff request to adjust your profile may lead to a permanent ban.

3. Illegal Server Tags & Unauthorized Servers

3.1. Any server tags linking or referencing illegal, impersonated, or unauthorized servers (such as Growtopia gambling/growtopia hacks servers or ToS-violating servers) are strictly forbidden.
3.2. Using illegal server tags to promote or redirect members to unauthorized servers for growtopia or not will result in immediate disciplinary action.
3.3. In most cases, having an illegal server tag will result in a permanent ban without prior warning. However, if the violation is less severe, the member may first be muted and instructed to remove the tag immediately. If they fail to change it and open a ticket before their case is reviewed in the ban list, the violation will then be escalated to a Permanent Ban.
3.4. If you are muted for having an illegal server tag or illegal bio, carefully read the bot message you receive and follow its instructions to resolve the issue and request removal of the mute. Failure to comply may result in further disciplinary action.

4. Illegal Links & Promotions in Bio

4.1. Promoting illegal or unauthorized Discord servers, websites, or content in your bio, status, or profile links is strictly prohibited.
4.2. Members found with such links will be muted and instructed to remove the content immediately.
4.3. Once removed, open a ticket in #🚨・support to notify the Support Team for verification.
4.4. If the illegal links remain and you fail to remove them before your case is reviewed in the ban list, the violation will be escalated to a permanent ban. Ensure you adhere to the rules and remove the links promptly to avoid this outcome.

5. General Compliance

5.1. Maintain a clean and appropriate public profile at all times.
5.2. Failure to follow these guidelines or cooperate with moderation instructions may result in removal from the server.

🙅🏻‍♂️ CIVILITY & DISCRIMINATION

No harassment or disrespect of any kind! This includes but is not limited to hate speech, racial slurs, or any other derogatory comments about anyone's race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, identity, or politics, and any other sensitive topics are not allowed.
No illegal talk, both in-game and outside of the game, is absolutely prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, gambling, hacking, autofarming, stealing, glitches, private servers, and fraudsters. Kindly avoid any discussion of any illegal activities related to Growtopia.
Be respectful. Treat everyone the way you want to be treated. Do not start fights or unnecessary drama. You must respect all users, regardless of your liking towards them. We want this to be a safe place for everyone.
Please refrain from being toxic by harassing, insulting, or arguing in order to keep the server peaceful. This means that you can't discriminate against users based on their race, sexual orientation, or server roles. You cannot also interrupt staff or members by arranging huge hate trains or rallies. Arguments based on serious topics or serious conversations are not permitted; if you want to argue with someone, do so in DMs rather than on the server.
No NSFW, gore, or pornographic material/messages. Any sort of pornographic, excessively graphic, unsafe for work, or illegal media is not permitted. Because not everyone here is over the age of 18, you must refrain from sending such stuff. Any type of sexual behavior while communicating is strictly prohibited.
Caution: No encouraging or hinting for others to search for or view 18+ content. This includes any language or behavior that indirectly encourages others to engage with 18+ content, as well as any sharing of links or other content that could potentially lead to 18+ content.
Serious: No excessive profanity or inappropriate language.

Serious: No NSFW avatars, custom status, or bios.
It's important to note that we take this rule very seriously, as any viewage of 18+ content can potentially have a lasting negative impact on individuals, especially those who are under 18. Our goal is to maintain a safe and positive environment for everyone in the community, and we appreciate your cooperation in adhering to these rules.
On this server, impersonation of any player or user is strictly prohibited. Making serious attempts to fool players into thinking they are the person they are attempting to imitate, Even if the person or bot you're impersonating isn't on the server, you'll be punished if users are tricked by your impersonation which will result in permanent ban.
It is not permitted to be passive-aggressive or even to attack others by commenting on something they have shared that you dislike. Is this to say you can't express yourself? No, as long as you do it in a proper and appropriate manner that does not offend or harm others.
Negative criticism that can damage others' self-esteem and cause anxiety, anger, or even aggression is not permitted, even if you are subconsciously encouraging it. Low self-esteem is a major contributor to anxiety and depression. If you are reported or caught, we will make certain that you are severely punished.
All rules must be respected in all text channels throughout the server.

🤬 PROFANITY AND SWEARING ARE NOT ALLOWED

Swearing and filthy language are not permitted. This server is appropriate for all Ages Over 13, so please keep it clean for our younger members.
Avoid evading MEE6's censoring system. This entails attempting to say any phrase that AutoMod prohibits. Any word that is potentially offensive or triggering but is not on AutoMod's censor list will be counted (slurs, and other words). Including, but not limited to; spelling blacklisted words with different symbols, letters, missing letters, replacing a blacklisted word with an emoji to imply said word, etc.
Spoilers are not to be abused. It is not permitted to use spoilers to make something appear to be the 'n word' or anything else that could be offensive. "N||ugge||t" or "ni||ceca||r" are two examples. Doing so will result in a guaranteed punishment.

📝 CHANNEL USAGE RULES

Avoid direct channel mentions for warping. Instead, utilize the "id:browse" feature to locate and navigate to specific channels.
Directly mentioning channels for warping is prohibited. This disrupts the flow of conversation and may cause clutter in the chat.
Failure to adhere to this rule will result in a 1-day timeout. Continual violations may lead to further disciplinary action, including temporary ban from the server.

📝 EXP SYSTEM RULES

No Spamming for XP, users are prohibited from spamming random words, phrases, or emojis solely for the purpose of leveling up their XP.
Meaningful Contribution, XP should be earned through meaningful conversation in discussion category, such as engaging in constructive discussions participating in channels that gives you EXP.
No Exploitative Behavior, users are not allowed to exploit loopholes or engage in manipulative behavior to artificially inflate their XP levels.
XP Gain in Relevant Channels Only, users must earn XP in channels where their contributions are relevant and add value to the community. XP gain will be disabled in channels where spam-like behavior is encouraged, such as bot channels #🦾・commands¹ or off-topic channels, check #📌・server-guide message
🚨 XP Reset: In instances of severe EXP farming or exploitation, users will be given <@&977099529113448508> role & face their XP being reset to zero as a deterrent against future violations. This applies to all members of The Lost Nemo, even those with higher levels, who engage in spamming or similar behavior. Just with a single click, all your hard work could be gone.

📨 ADVERTISING & SPAMMING

1. Advertising Policies:

• Any form of advertising, including but not limited to Discord servers, referral links, other people social media profiles, or channels, is strictly prohibited. This includes soliciting Google reviews, advertising for perks or using invite trackers, as well as informing users to put server Vanity links in their "Status" or "About me" section, whether for a return or for nothing. Engaging in these activities could result in a Permanent Ban for the individuals/groups from the server.
• Direct message advertising is against Discord's Terms of Service.
• Selling accounts, items, or worlds for real money, including via DMs, is not allowed.
• Sharing unreleased content and private servers related to Growtopia is prohibited.
• Evading mute/ban will result in a permanent ban from the server on all accounts.
• Members are strictly prohibited from advertising proxies, such as "Growpai" and "Lucifer," in their Status/Activity. Additionally, promoting or engaging with Growtopia private servers, scripts, proxies & vend locator within our server is not allowed. While we may not enforce legality regarding individual gameplay, advertising or sharing such content within our server is strictly prohibited. Violation of this rule may result in disciplinary action, including permanent removal from the server.
• Members are allowed to promote their OWN legal communities or social media in their "About Me" only section.

2. Spamming Guidelines:

• Refrain from spamming, including excessive caps, reaction spams, copy-pastes, picture/link/GIF spam, and walls of text.
• Spamming entails sending repetitive or similar texts repeatedly in a channel.
• Posting song lyrics or asking for the next lyric, multiple images or emojis at once, epileptic/flashing rainbow emojis/GIFs, and NSFW emojis are not allowed.

Do not use alts maliciously, which includes utilizing them to enter giveaways and gain an unfair advantage or to avoid a punishment imposed on your main account. This apply to Evading Mute/Ban will result in a permanent ban from the server on all accounts.
Ghost Pinging is not allowed on the server. This refers to mentioning or pinging another member without a valid reason, such as for attention, annoyance, or harassment. If this rule is violated, the member may receive a warning, temporary mute, or ban. Repeated violations may lead to further disciplinary action, including permanent removal from the server.
When conversing with other members on the server, we encourage everyone to use only English. Unless there is a non-English speaker who joined and did not know the rules, you can guide him using your own language to avoid any future difficulties for the new member.
No sharing personal information such as private photos, names, or anything else without the owners / persons permission.
Bot commands must only be used in the #🦾・commands¹ channel so the servers stay organized!
No mass pinging moderators unnecessarily. We are delighted to assist and will respond as soon as possible.
Please do not solicit donations. We're here to have a good time, not to hear scam stories and ask for donations.
Avoid using 3rd party apps or client modifiers with your account, since it's against Discord ToS, and the use of them can result in your account being disabled.
Please keep your topics in the correct channels. For example, only discuss topics related to anime within the #🍰・anime chat channel. View the channel topics/pins to see the topic that each channel has.
Evading mute/ban will result in a permanent ban from the server on all accounts.
No interference with moderator duties, which could include: 
Calling staff members without a valid reason.
Misusing our ticket bot.
Arguing Intentionally misinforming users with significant queries.
Arguing with them in general-chat while they moderate instead of messaging a higher-ranking staff member.
Not responding to them or dodging their questions regarding you breaking the rules.

📜 No Misinformation or Misguidance:

• Members are not allowed to intentionally misinform or misguide others regarding in-game or server-related issues. This includes but is not limited to:
• Falsely claiming there will be a server rollback or other server-wide changes.
• Directing players to incorrect channels (e.g., misleading someone to post in the wrong marketplace channel).
• Spreading rumors or false information that disrupts the community or causes confusion.
  ⚠️ Punishment: Violating this rule will result in a Behavioral Warning.
  🚫 THERE ARE NO OBJECTIONS.

All members on the "The Lost Nemo" server are not allowed to discuss anyone's punishment. Only the offender has the ability to contest his punishment through the Ticket. Talking about the warning you received, or revealing the reasons for the warning, or anything else in general chat or somewhere else will double the punishments or even get permanently banned. Any complaints raised after a penalty has been discussed and considered final by staff members are not permitted on the server.
You are not permitted to minimod, which is acting as a mod by informing people that they have broken a rule and that they will be punished. If you have a problem, please open a ticket and notify a staff member rather than acting as one yourself. However you are allowed to report via apps or use the /report command.
No questioning the mods. Arguing, talking back, mocking, and disrespecting the staff is not allowed. The staff has the final say. Our staff isn't here for nothing. Do not argue with staff, if you have any complaint against a staff member, please contact <@&813042615905157190>.

🔊 HOPPING & SOUND

Only play songs in the music voice channels, you aren't allowed to play normal videos. You also cannot play songs with excessive swearing, they can have mild swearing or minor amounts of racial slurs, however their primary purpose cannot be for their offensive language.
You are not allowed to repeatedly switch between voice channels to cause annoyance or to disturb other members!
All rules on this server also apply to the "VC channels." You are not allowed to record any conversations, threatening users, or behave in any disturbing way.
Being racist against "Asians"or "Indonesians," attempting to mock their language, or making fun of them, in general, would result in a permanent ban from our server. Racists people are not welcome in this server. 
Please avoid playing loud, irritating, or high-pitched sounds that can disturb other members who are in the same voice channel.
Try to reduce the amount of background noise as much as possible. Moderators own the right to disconnect you from a voice channel if your sound quality is low or if you are breaking a rule.
Avoid skipping people's songs without their permission, rickrolling others, and being obnoxious in general. You will be punished if you do.
Please ensure that all streaming content is suitable for children and family-friendly. Nothing NSFW, sexually explicit, relating to substance addiction, disturbing, or of a grave nature may be posted or broadcast. Suicide, self-harm, abuse, flirting/dating, and hinting at content such as "ahegao" photos are examples of inappropriate content.
Do not modify your normal voice. Using voice changers and personal sound players is not allowed.

🏅 RANKS & SPECIAL ROLES

Just because you have a special role does not mean that these rules do not apply to you; everyone, even all staff members, is required to obey these rules.
No begging for roles such as asking for Moderator, Youtuber or any levelling roles.
When you reach a specific level, you will be automatically assigned to a leveling role. By conversing and interacting with the server, you can obtain different colors of leveing roles. 
No begging for roles such as Guardian, Verified, or any leveling roles; instead, learn how to obtain them and work to obtain them.
Roles can be removed at any time for any cause.

☠️ SYSTEM OF INFRACTIONS
Please note that these rules are subject to change. We will always put forth the good of the discord server.  Punishments will be given when the rules are broken, or when we deem it necessary. 
The way we determine when you are banned is through our moderation system which you can see below:

Behavioral Warning System:

@wise onyx Is used to issue a behavioral warning to an offender, we will impose the following punishments:

• 🚩 1st warning: 6 Hours Mute Duration
• 🚩 2nd warning: 12 Hours Mute Duration
• 🚩 3rd warning: 3 Days Mute Duration
• 🚩 4th warning: Temporarily Ban for 1 week
• 🚫 5th warning: Permanently Banned

Other sorts of rule violations:

ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES & SCAMMING WARNING SYSTEM:
When you issue a warning to an offender, you will impose the following punishments:

Bad words = Delete Message & Warn Member.
Repeated text = Delete Message.
Excessive mentions = Delete Message.
External links = Delete Message & Warn Member.

Excessive caps (70% > CAPS) = Delete Message.
Excessive emojis = Delete Message.
