PATCH 8.0 NOTES
Dear Community, we wanted to let you know that there will be a delay in the release of the patch 8.0. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and understand that you are eager to have access to the new features and improvements included in the patch for our server.

The delay is due to the fact that we do not want to rush and provide an incomplete patch or modifications. We are working hard to tackle the present issues and will do everything necessary to deliver you the patch as soon as possible. We are now aiming for a release date of the end of this month. Howdy, my fellow members! How are you guys doing? It has been almost five months since our last announcement, and I apologize for the prolonged silence. Today, I have an important update to share regarding the search feature issue that has been plaguing us. Since the very first occurrence of this problem - 18th April 2023, and I have been actively engaged in resolving the search feature issue. I have tirelessly reached out to the support team, providing them with continuous feedback and seeking a solution. Unfortunately, I recently received an email from the support team stating that They ensure that they have extensively reviewed our server and confirm that everything is working as intended., and there is nothing they can do to address the problem but advice me to suggest & leave a feedback on - https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/community/topics.

I would like to take this opportunity to remind you as well that if you still encounter any issues or have concerns related to the search feature or any other aspect of our server that isn't working as intended, we encourage you to reach out to Discord support team through this website: https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/requests/new You can report any problems or provide feedback by contacting support directly and provide all the necessary information, screenshots, videos since it's a Discord API issue. I can't do anything about it as <@&571996540617621524>, Perhaps if most of you did submit a request they might have a better understanding on how this issue is occurring for all of our users, and affecting their experience on Discord platform, By the way, if you decided to report the search feature issue, make sure to provide the Server ID, so they know which server this issue is occurring in - Server ID: 571992648190263317 Just saying 😉

While this news is disappointing, we refuse to let it hinder our progress. In light of the circumstances, we have decided to take matters into our own hands and implement a Temporarily solution to mitigate the impact of the search feature issue. Therefore, I am pleased to announce that we have created a backup server for The Lost Nemo called - iHemo's Legacy , ensuring that you have a reliable alternative to rely on. The backup server will be a dedicated server that mirrors the functionalities of the original search feature & it's Marketplace. It will allow you to perform searches, retrieve information, and access relevant resources. We are confident that this Backup Server will address the limitations we have been experiencing and provide a satisfactory solution to our search needs for the Time being until it's fixed, However, it is crucial to NOTE that not everything we accomplish on the main server will be replicated on the backup server, the backup server's primary purpose is to function as a marketplace with a Working Search Engine and as a place for me to preform changes and features that if it's successful we might implement them on the Main server.

Your engagement and support during this challenging time have been invaluable. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this situation together. CHANGES TO BUYBAIT & BUYROD CURRENT SYSTEM
Howdy, my fellow members! I hope this announcement finds you all well. I wanted to inform you that after almost 4 Years of using the current buybait system, we have decided to bring it to an end. Throughout this time, we have had our fair share of ups and downs, experimented with different layouts and systems, all with the aim of benefiting our <@&827044939233624115>s and ensuring their profitability. I am happy to have been a part of their journey in this game whether it was through our Discord server or my own world which is the origin of this server existence and I truly appreciate each and every one of you who has been with us throughout the previous years. However, as you know, all good things must come to an end. While the current buybait system has its merits and I have enjoyed every aspect of it, it has Become Increasingly Time-Consuming. I find myself unable to fully enjoy the game due to the demands of managing the system. The influx of direct messages (DMs), tickets, and the effort required to maintain the system have taken their toll.

Therefore, I have made the decision to revert back to the Old Buybait system, where I can restock at my convenience without the responsibilities that come with the current system. This change will allow me to reclaim my time, as I am occupied 90% of the time and the little free time I have left is dedicated to the Server and Buybait, which is the primary reason I engage with Growtopia.

I hope you can understand my point of view. In light of this decision, we will no longer be accepting any sales for new spots. Please refrain from opening tickets to request or make payments to the bot in hopes of securing a spot. I will be sending another announcement shortly to provide instructions for Renters who have paid for a year or have recently renewed, regarding their refunds. The remaining renters will have their spots reserved until their expiration dates.

I apologize for this batch's 5-month delay, but please remember that each batch requires us to be much stricter in choosing those members. This is not a simple process, but rest assured that we will work to make things much quicker and involve more staff members in the selection process in order to prevent staff shortages and provide alternative ways to add more staff when necessary. Along those lines, if you made it to the qualification interview but weren't added to the batch, that just means the results of the interview and background check may not have been as expected, it's essential to remember that it's not a definitive judgment on your abilities or worth. We encourage you not to lose hope and consider applying again in the future. As per our Policy, we are unable to provide specific feedback or reasons for not selecting specific individuals. I trust everyone is enjoying their time playing Growtopia This marks our first announcement of the year, and there are many more to follow. Congratulations to our family for achieving 450k members We're just 50,000 members away from hitting half a million in this server. It's unbelievable to see how much the server has grown over the years. This server is now used by almost 90% of the Growtopia community, yet many players are still unaware of it. That's pretty crazy!
