I have been playing the last few days, everything was fresh, I only started on the server a few days ago

the 28th is when I started

and I didn't know you needed to claim land, I thought it was just for group stuff, admittedly I could have read the intro better

If you had read the rules in #whitelisting you would definitely know claiming is a thing.
