#Update to newer minecraft version?

mostly asking because i want the newer version of sodium in the modpack, ive heard it has had lots of performance improvements and id like to reach the 240hz of my monitor lol

Embeddium was chosen, by us and ATM too, for greater mod compatibility.

That said you’re free to modify your own SP and server instances of course.

Likely won’t be updating the MC version itself very soon—support for versions past 1.21.1, among the ~500+ mods in the pack, is scattered and incomplete.

Currently the NeoForge cord is recommending 26.1 as the next so called “LTS” version of MC for mod authors to target; but of course modders are still free to make their own choices of MC versions to port to.
