I downloaded the server and then ran startserver.bat it installed the files but whenever i try to launch it just gives me this error
version was 1.12.3

minecraft 1.21.1 requires java 21

also, be sure that the libraries/net/neoforged/neoforge/21.1.176/win_args.txt file exists within your server folder (it is part of the neoforge install performed by serverstarter)

if not, you can either delete .lock file and let it reinstall neoforge or run the neoforge installer for 176

So I tried deleting the .lock file and reinstalling but it gave me this at the end

https://projects.neoforged.net/neoforged/neoforge download the installer here
open it, choose server and point to your server's folder
