#How do you update a modpack manually?

In prism, use the 'add instance' button to download and install a modpack the first time.

Later, select it, click Edit, then go to the Curseforge tab to update the modpack.

#

Um, no... I mean you could, but it's much easier to use the 'add instance' button to install a modpack, or the mods tab in an instance's detail view to further add or remove mods if you wanted to customize your instance.

Can't say without knowing what launcher we're talking about.

#

¯_(ツ)_/¯

you need all the files. every file you copied to play it the first time, all the folders you copied, you need the same ones this time 😛

#

your world is in the saves folder. dont delete the saves folder

Tlauncher: 👎

#

If it's still the piracy-enabling features of TLauncher, we can't help you with it.

#

Essentially, the only real change is our relationship with the TLauncher.org team.

yeah, sadly, using TLauncher, even with a purchased account (which is risky due to malware embedded) still violates copyright laws in the USA, which falls under Discord ToS, meaning even if folks here dont live in the USA, they have to abide by the rules of discord which does

#

no help for piracy as it can (and has) caused servers to be shut down which is bad for everyone else

Prism is free and works great (on any platform too); can heartily recommend it.

(but the account isnt)

#

as far as multiplayer mods, i tend to disable/remove the BHMenu, discord integration, and voice chat mods, along with the desired servers mod

#

(and any other QoL mod i dont like, IPN, ALI, etc)

heads up, don't even joke about it... act/intimate like you are pirating the game and you get banned from this discord.
