this was tested on EU2 1.17.1
the recipe doesn't accept the trinity gem even tho it has the correct mob

could this be the cause? the NBTs mismatch(I haven't used kubejs in a bit)

Yes, that's the issue. I tried performing the ritual in Creative mode by directly giving myself the item with the same NBT data, and it completed successfully.

/give _Exefer occultism:trinity_gem[entity_data={"id":"occultism:possessed_warden"}]

I then released the warden inside a trinity gem that I gave myself with /give, recaptured him, and retried performing the ritual. However, it failed with the same error that Said, and I on the #craftoria-eu server encountered. The NBT this time looked somewhat the same as in the image I shared before.

unless the nbt is the exact same ^^, the ritual will fail.
