Me and my friend have been playing this modpack and we have been using the essential mod to play with eachother. I want to make the world that we currently play on a server. How do I do that? I tried downloading the server pack but that doesn't work. Everytime I try to join the server it does not allow me to join. I even added the 3 mods that we installed into the mods folder. So I gave up on that idea and want to rent a server but do not know if I can turn our world into a server.

open your saves folder. find the save for the shared lan world you were playing
that is going to be the "world" folder on the server. copy the contents of that save's folder to the server's "world" folder. if there is anything in the "world" folder already, delete the world folder's contents first
unfortunately, with the "does not allow me to join" issue when you are hosting it locally, i am concerned that something else may be going on, so if you have more issues, be sure to ask for help
