I and my friends want to do a minecraft server with this modpack
but one of my friends never heard of the curseforge app (he only knew the site until now)
and he is afraid login into minecraft while launching the modpack from the curseforge app
I tried to explain to him, that its curseforge and it's a known company, like google chrome extensions for chrome
and while he knew this site for a long time he was still afraid to login.
the only solution we can find is to take the files downloaded from the folder of the curseforge app and run it manually
but when we copied the mods to the mods folder it gave an error on the startup
if someone can help me run the modpack but without the curseforge app

there are a few other apps better than cf, but for all you need to insert your information into something (even if its trusted by millions), or you get some piracy that we are not supporting
but you probably already know that and with the rest I'm too stupid to help :D
oh but one thing, you also need to copy all the configs etc
not just the mod folder
